3" stretch direct bolt on tank for 03-07 Fuel Injected, or 96-06 Carbureted Road Kings. One piece tanks feature a curved bottom for a custom look. Available in 2 widths; 17.5" (approximately 6 gallon capacity), or 20" (approximately 6.5 gallon capacity). Includes raw dash panel that replaces the existing dash. Any aftermarket cap will fit. We recommend Drag Specialties PN 0703-0060.
Fuel-injected tank accepts the stock O.E.M. fuel-pump assembly and uses a L96-07 vented gas cap. Carb tanks include a filler plate/neck assembly and use a L96-07 vented gas cap.
These tanks come powder-coated on the inside to ensure a clean sealed surface. There is no need to etch or use any other sealer. Minimal prep work will be needed prior to paint.
Requires stock seat modification. Tanks fit with RWD Profile (PN 0804-0247) and Protour (PN 0804-0248) Seats, sold separately.
Note: Filler plate on carb tanks may require modifications to reinstall early-style sending unit.
Made in the USA using 14 and 16 guage steel. Tig welded by an American Craftsman.
Our Road Glide, Road King, Street Glide, and Electra Glide tanks come standard with one fuel outlet. If two outlets are needed, please special order your tank.
WARNING: All tanks are shipped unpainted. All gas tanks should be fitted, pressure-tested and sealed BEFORE being painted to eliminate potential problems.
Note: Lead time on these tanks can be up to 4-6 weeks.
